The Golden Rule Insurance Co has been censured by consumer advocacy organization Citizen Action for failing to provide important information on Golden Rule's health coverage to prospective clients. The group sent a letter to Golden Rule Chmn J. Patrick Rooney on Jun 27, 1994, requesting that Rooney disclose information on rates for applications and claims denials, premium increases and policy cancellations. Rooney claims that Golden Rule has been under attack for its support of Pres Clinton's health care reform package.
