Heritage management as postprocessual archaeology?

Postmodernist theories are being applied to archeology and its practical applications in heritage management. Post processual archeology aims to redefine the theory underlying archeological practice and how it is affected by policies regarding artifacts and remains. However, postprocessual theory fails to address the contexts in which heritage management presently occurs and its dependence on political conditions.
