Twenty-eight years ago, Russ Rentler was once a musical cohort of Richard Shindell and John Gorka. This onetime association manifests in Rentler's witty lyrics and ability with language. Rentler opens this CD with "Prairie Dog Exodus," an ecological parable with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor.
