Dec. 15--You won't have to drive to the Galleria in Houston to go ice skating this year. Today through Sunday, Newmyer Honda, 5105 N. Navarro St., will have a temporary 1,000-square-foot synthetic ice skating rink in their parking lot for locals to practice their figure 8s, flips, lutzes and salchows. "I don't know if a lot of Victorians have had experiences with ice skating, so for a lot of youngsters this will be a neat attraction for them," said Patrick Guerra with the Guerra Group, representing Newmyer Honda.
