Installed capacity remains 807 MW since 2001
There was no movement in geothermal energy industry in Indonesia since 2001 as illustrated by the country's installed capacity which remains 807 MW until now, only 28.5 % of proven reserves and only a very small fraction (6.2%) of total reserves. Existing geothermal power plants were built in 1983 up to 2001, and since then no other geothermal plants completed.
