Dec. 13--WELLINGTON -- The Binks Forest golf course saga took a step toward closure Tuesday night. After months of debates and meeting with residents, the Village Council voted unanimously to approve a development agreement with the golf course's owner that will allow it to move forward with repairs. The agreement allows Peninsula Bank, the owner, to build 90 town homes on the golf course's old driving range in exchange for fixing up the overgrown golf course and abandoned clubhouse, which have plagued the neighborhood since 2002.
