LUKOIL SCANDINAVIA FILES BRIEF IN HOUSTON COURT REQUESTING DISMISSAL OF FRANKENBURG LAWSUIT

    MOSCOW, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Lukoil Scandinavia filed a brief on June 16 in a Houston court requesting the dismissal of a case brought against it by Frankenburg Est.  Lukoil Scandinavia is based in Denmark and is a subsidiary of Lukoil Oil Concern, Russia's largest oil company. 
    "The inclusion of Lukoil Scandinavia in the case just shows how Frankenburg is tilting at windmills," said Alexander Vasilenko, a Lukoil spokesman.
