Nov. 22--Plans for a new Alamance County EMS center are taking shape, but commissioners will wait until at least December to select an architect and set aside money for the project.

Durham architect Lucien Roughton presented drawings to commissioners on Monday.

The center will be in Graham, off East Crescent Square Drive behind the former prison unit south of Interstate 85-40.
