Strange notation on the Class 5A football season.

There are only 10 days remaining in this high school season, and Columbine finally will face an opponent from outside the South Metro League, as the Rebels play host to a state semifinal game.

Columbine's opponent Friday at Jefferson County Stadium will be Front Range League champion Fort Collins (12-0).
