Nov. 17--LINCOLN -- Nearly 70 years after Nebraska switched to a one-house legislature, State Sen. Mike Friend of Omaha wants the state to go back to having two houses. Friend said Thursday that he plans to introduce a constitutional amendment to that effect during the 2007 legislative session.
