Nov. 16--SANBORN -- Nobody can say Niagara County Community College students aren't doing their part to promote world harmony.
This week the Student Senate brought in 10 Tibetan monks to create a mandala, a beautifully colored sand painting, in the lobby of the college's Fine Arts Building.
Since Tuesday, the monks have worked in shifts from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, using colored sands to create the artwork atop a 5-by-5-foot ...
