Nov. 16--AMMAN -- The 5th King Abdullah II Basketball Cup opens today with the national team looking to capture the title against top teams from the region. Eight teams are competing for the title: Syria, Kosovo, Palestine and Jordan will play in Group 1, while Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria as well as Lebanon's Al Riyadi Club (substituting for the national team) will play in Group 2.
