The ancient tradition of communicating wisdom and truth about life and human behaviour through story-telling survives only in traditional, rural societies. It is a pity. We could all benefit from the stories, legends and myths told for thousands of years.

Here's a very old Xhosa story as an example. Perhaps the parties involved in the ANC succession battle could learn from it.
