Pres. Bill Clinton stated that his administration is committed to addressing the problems of rural America. Clinton said that many of his initiatives, especially health care reform, will bring significant benefits to rural areas. For example, the provisions in the health care reform proposal on national health service expansion and tax incentives for doctors who opt for rural medical practice can do much to address the health care problems of rural America.
