Millions of San Joaquin Valley fun-seekers heard Richard Jay Fatland each year at The Big Fresno Fair, and millions more heard him or enjoyed his work without even realizing it.
Mr. Fatland, the "Voice of the Fair" for several years and a fair entertainer around the state for 25, died Tuesday of complications from cancer. He was 60.
