SPRINGFIELD, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania College of Internal Medicine (PCIM) has formally changed its name to the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Physicians (PA Chapter, ACP). This change was made to firmly establish the organization as the state chapter of the American College of Physicians and eliminate confusion among members and other organizations. The PCIM name was used in Pennsylvania following the national merger of the ACP with the ASIM.
