A NORTHERN Ireland public body's procedures on preventing conflicts of interest have been stoutly defended, after controversy about individuals linked to the organisation.
The Strategic Investment Board (SIB) oversees multi-million pound development plans for the province.
Its roles include promoting private sector involvement in the public sector.
Within the past year, companies linked to two of its directors have benefited from projects which have been part-financed by the SIB.
