The Macintosh personal computer (PC) was first introduced as the most easy-to-use PC in the market. Today's Macintosh is more powerful, expandable, has color and reads and writes MS-DOS files. As such, the present generation may be less user-friendly to novices. Some of the new features of Macintoshes, including upgrades, CD ROMs, file compression and shareware utilities are presented.
