Nov. 7--LAKE GEORGE -- Next summer is still a long way away. So why is Lake George already planning for next fall?
That's because it's never too soon to plan for restaurant week.
Lake George is the latest community to organize such a program, in which local restaurants agree to offer a fixed-price menu. In the Capital Region, the price is usually tied to an important date. In Lake George, it's $17.57, referring to the French and Indian War.
