Nov. 6--HIGH POINT -- Businessman Thomas Haggai's devotion to High Point has given the city another platform on the international stage of commerce.
Haggai, a longtime executive with the IGA supermarket alliance, will become the chief executive officer of IGA Global later this month as part of a management restructuring. The 75-year-old businessman will oversee IGA Global from his office in High Point. IGA marks its 80th anniversary this year.
