Nov. 6--The swing era and the music of clarinetist Benny Goodman will come alive on stage at Viterbo University on Saturday, Nov. 11, as Dave Bennett's septet pays tribute to the King of Swing as part of the Bright Star Season. The septet is led by 22-year-old clarinetist David Bennett, who has created arrangements for many of Goodman's hits and swing jazz classics such as "Moonglow," "I've Got Rhythm," "Body and Soul," "Slipped Disc," "Sing, Sing, Sing," "Airmail Special," "Breakfast Feud" and "Poor Butterfly."
