Adding a few components to a circuit that conditions pressure-transducer signals enables the signal to change state when pressure crosses a threshold. This output can drive an LED, electronic switch or microcontroller input. The programmed threshold determines the pressure at which the output state switches. A user-defined hysteresis setting can be utilized to eliminate multiple output transitions when the pressure-sensor voltage is approaching the threshold.
