The Rack is playing hard ball in its bid to block the Hard Rock Cafe from taking over its prime 10-year location next to Faneuil Hall.

The Boston nightclub's owners filed a lawsuit yesterday accusing their landlord, Sullivan Properties Inc., of misrepresentation, breach of contract and other charges. They also subpoenaed executives at Orlando, Fla.-based Hard Rock Cafe International Inc. for a deposition.
