Nov. 2--The La Villita Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is offering a help session Friday for prospective members.

Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution is based on descent from a man or woman who served between 1775 and 1783 as a sailor, soldier or civil officer in one of the Colonies or states, or as a recognized patriot who rendered material aid to the Revolutionary cause.

La Villita members will be on hand from 10 a.m. to noon at Carnegie Library in downtown Bryan to help women identify their patriot ancestors who served during the ...
