Nov. 2--MIAMI -- The Heat paid its penance Wednesday.
Practice was called for noon. The last ball did not stop bouncing until 4:12 p.m.
Through study and sweat, the Heat did its best to push past Tuesday's 108-66 season-opening loss to the visiting Bulls.
"Anytime you get beat like that, you remember," guard Dwyane Wade said. "When I got beat like that in high school, I still remember.
