Nothing but joy, warmth and love was radiated as Mrs. Eunice Walker Johnson was welcomed back to her hometown of Selma, AL, as keynote speaker of the ribbon-cutting and building dedication of a new branch of the YMCA of Selma-Dallas County.
In honor of Mrs. Johnson's gracious generosity and her rich family legacy, the new facility is named the Walker-Johnson Family Center. Having donated $1 million to the YMCA of Selma-Dallas County, Mrs. Johnson, the secretary-treasurer of Johnson Publishing Company, was able to see firsthand the appreciation and use of her kindness.
