TO celebrate the 61st anniversary of the United Nations, the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines opened United Nations Week, on October 18th with a wreath-laying ceremony at the tomb of General Carlos Romulo at the Libingan ng mga Bayani at Fort Bonifacio. Guests included members of the Diplomatic Corps, heads of the United Nations Agencies, officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the United Nations Association of the Philippines, and members of the Romulo family.
