Oct. 29--Four years ago, the south side of Columbus was Bob Poydasheff's Briar Patch, a place where votes were plentiful and elections were won. Though Poydasheff and challenger Jim Wetherington both vote at Wynnbrook Baptist, a church in the woods of River Road, the two candidates recognize that the mayor's race will be decided south of Macon Road.
