Oct. 28--The sale of an aging Dania Beach hotel appears to have fallen through, stalling plans for one of the first major redevelopment projects in the heart of downtown. The city approved the 14-story condominium project for the corner of Federal Highway and Dania Beach Boulevard, where the Pirate's Inn, a seedy hotel and liquor store, has sat for decades.
