Delhi Govt signs pact for LNG to fire power plants
New Delhi, Oct 27 (PTI) The Delhi Government today signed an agreement with Petronet LNG Ltd for purchase of natural gas for fire generation projects with a total capacity of about 1,500 MW, as part of the steps to tide over shortages by the Commonwealth Games in 2010.
PLL Managing Director and CEO P Dasgupta and Pragati Power Corporation Ltd Managing Director P K Chakravarti signed an MoU for 1.5 million tonnes (6 million standard cubic meters per day) of gas from 2009-10.
