Data from a new experiment measuring the anisotropy of the one-way speed of EM waves in a coaxial cable, gives the speed of light as 300,000[+ or -]400[+ or -]20km/s in a measured direction RA=5.5[+ or -]2 hrs, Dec=70[+ or -]10.S, is shown to be in excellent agreement with the results from seven previous anisotropy experiments, particularly those of Miller (1925/26), and even those of Michelson and Morley (1887). The Miller gas-mode interferometer results, and those from the RF coax...

The Speed of Light Is Exceeded in Lab; Scientists Accelerate a Pulse of Light
The Washington Post
; In a landmark experiment, scientists have broken the cosmic speed limit, causing a light pulse to travel at many times the speed of light--so fast that the peak of the pulse exited a specially prepared test chamber before it even finished entering it. That seems to contradict not only common sense,

Scotland on Sunday
; FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT Joao Magueijo William Heinemann, GBP 16.99 BEING a controversial scientist used to mean coming up with a theory that went against conventional wisdom. Joao Magueijo certainly fits that bill, since he reckons Einstein's theory of relativity is wrong. But Magueijo's

; People who'd like to travel faster than the speed of light should try to set more realistic goals. It would be easier to play more consecutive games than Cal Ripken Jr. Light's speed is not a record made to be broken. Nothing can go faster. Why? Because Einstein said so. Well, not exactly. But his
