EAGLE SPRINGS -- Tony Gerald Connor, 54, of Eagle Springs, died Wednesday October 25, 2006, at his home, after a ten year battle with a brain tumor.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday October 28, at Bensalem Presbyterian Church in Eagle Springs.

Mr. Connor was born July 21, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Sanford, before moving to Moore County. Mr. Connor was an educator for 29 years in Moore and surrounding counties. He was a graduate of Pinecrest High School, received his undergraduate degree from UNC Pembroke and earned a Masters of Arts ...
