Male desire is as easy to chart as the longitude and latitude of Greenland. But female desire can be as elusive as the Bermuda Triangle, a dangerous mystery confounding men--and, frankly, many women--for ages. In fact, less than two centuries ago the Victorians once doubted whether female desire even existed.
