Oct. 25--DECATUR -- The Decatur City Council will hold a special meeting today to review progress made toward accomplishing top community goals.

The council meets at 6 p.m. at Tuscany Steak and Pasta House, 1099 W. Wood St. The council held a series of meetings earlier this year to draft short-term and long-term community goals. Several goals already have been accomplished, and others are under way, Mayor Paul Osborne said. "There's really a lot of excitement," Osborne said.
