Pres Bill Clinton issued a proclamation designating Mar 1994 as American Red Cross Month in recognition of the crucial role the organization plays in international humanitarian efforts. Clinton stated that the American Red Cross and its volunteers have helped millions of people and provided them with shelter, food, financial help and training. He expressed the nation's gratitude to the organization and urged all Americans to continue with their support.
