Harmonic Inc. announced that Magyar Telekom, Hungary's leading telecommunications service provider and a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, has deployed Harmonic's FLXLink commercial services solution to bring high-speed IP-based services to apartment buildings and other multiple dwelling units (MDUs). Deployed in conjunction with Synergon Information Systems Plc., a leading system integrator in the region, this scalable solution enabled Magyar Telekom to leverage its existing network infrastructure to deliver 100Mbps fiber links to buildings throughout its broad service area.
