Courage will continue to sell two styles of its John Smith's canned bitter in both the original can and the newer draught can incorporating a widget device. The draught product is becoming a leader in the 124 million pounds sterling widget beer market, even though it has only been available for five months. The original version has been the leading canned bitter for 14 years, with sales rising 6% despite the launch of the sister widget brand.
