Oct. 15--ST. MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- In an Italianate convent church, a young woman cradling a baby slips down the marbled aisle to pray beside a coffin containing the bones of a nun. The sisters have grown accustomed to such pilgrims recently. The remains, along with three finger bones displayed in the glass-fronted reliquary beside the coffin, are those of the convent's founder, Mother Theodore Guerin, who died in 1856.
