Oct. 13--TOLEDO -- An Allen County woman and her husband are suing Dole Food Co. and two other companies, saying she became sick from E. coli after eating spinach. The lawsuit was filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Toledo and seeks more than $75,000 in damages. Linda and Craig Rower filed the lawsuit against Dole Food Co., Natural Selection Foods and Natural Selections Foods Manufacturing. All three companies are believed to operate out of California, the lawsuit said.

Dole and Natural Selections could not be reached for comment.
