Oct. 13--The idea of the University of Arizona taking over Biosphere 2 sounds promising, but UA officials should take steps to ensure that they're not falling into a money pit. The Star's Joseph Barrios reported Tuesday that the university and the biosphere's owners, Texas-based Decisions Investments Corp., are in discussions about a possible deal for the 140-acre science campus, which includes a 3.15-acre glass terrarium.
