MUCH has been written and said about Gandhi, Satyagraha and his stay in South Africa. However, I wish to add a few more facts which appear to be hardly known, but very relevant.

Barrister Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi lived in the home of the Rev Dr Joseph Doke in Sutherland Avenue, Hospital Hill, Johannesburg. Dr Doke was the minister of the Central Baptist Church. A strong bond developed between them.
