Poll: Brown would lose to Tory leader.

DAVID CAMERON would easily beat Gordon Brown at the next general election if he is elected Labour leader, according to a new poll.

More people see the Tory leader as charismatic, likable, believing in the NHS, caring more about ordinary people's problems and having what it takes to be Prime Minister than the Chancellor.

The findings suggest Mr Cameron is succeeding in rebranding the Tories while exposing Mr Brown's reported weaknesses. The Tory leader would also see off any threat from Home Secretary John Reid or Education Secretary Alan Johnson ...
