LA TRINIDAD, Benguet -- The provincial government has asked the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) in the Cordillera to investigate a television commercial which tends to degrade Igorots.
Earlier, the provincial board endorsed a Tuba (town) council resolution asking the NCIP to evaluate the toothpaste advertisement being aired on national television. The ad depicts Igorots untidy and infected with diseases, the council said....
