STAMFORD, Conn., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- GTE Corp. today announced that GTE Main Street(R), its premium, interactive cable television service, is targeting 10 million subscribers in the top 20 television markets in the next six years.
In a related move intended to facilitate its new growth plans, GTE further announced that it has formally incorporated Main Street as an independent subsidiary of GTE, operating under the name of GTE Main Street Incorporated.
