BOSTON -- Decreased interest in sexual activity by itself may not be a strong indicator of reduced testosterone levels, according to new findings presented here at the 88th annual meeting of The Endocrine Society.
It is well documented that frequency of sexual desire and thoughts are associated with total testosterone levels, and it is commonly believed that reduced libido reflects declines in testosterone.
