The U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration recently released its Site-Specific Targeting Plan for 2006.

The plan calls for a decreased number of contacts with "low-rate" establishments--those with a lower frequency of violations--increases inspections of "high-rate" establishments and adds to the list of targeted industries those in which a high number of businesses did not respond to OSHA's request for data last year.
