Putnam County United Way increases goal.

Sep. 22--KALIDA -- The United Way wants Putnam County to be a big piece to its annual fundraising puzzle.

And more than 50 community members gathered at the Kalida Knights of Columbus Thursday for the annual kickoff luncheon.

Jeanne Beutler, executive director for United Way of Putnam County, said it was important that people who work outside the county understand their payroll deduction donations can stay in the county.
