Sep. 22--The Boll Weevil's western migration to Columbia County remains on hold and could be in jeopardy.

"We toyed with the idea of doing some other things, but at this time, we're probably not going to do anything out there," said George Harrison, the owner of The Boll Weevil Cafe and Sweetery on Ninth Street, referring to a two-acre Columbia County site he bought on Owens Road near the Mullins Crossing shopping center.

Mr. Harrison said Wednesday that he is now considering selling the Columbia County property.
