At a time when relations between the EU and Serbia are at an all time low, a group of countries within the Council are concerned about Belgrade's isolation and the line being pursued by Europe by calling for a more tolerant policy. Six EU member states have presented a document containing a list of proposals to support Serbia, asking for "an increase in talks within the EU" during the External Relations Council in Brussels on 15 September.
