For more than a decade Bhekumuzi Kubheka says he has been denied justice.

That may change now that he's had a meeting with the Human Rights Commission.

Kubheka was shot and crippled - allegedly by a farmer in Vereeniging - 12 years ago.

The farmer was never charged and instead he opened a case of car theft against Kubheka several years later.

The incident happened while Kubheka, then a self-employed builder, was on his way to meet a client in the Sonlandpark area in Vereeniging.
